Akro-Mils product donation benefits Atlanta Habitat For Humanity

Akro-Mils’ donation to Habitat for Humanity included plastic storage bins and containers, portable organizers, storage cases, plastic and steel storage cabinets, and louvered bench racks.

A donation of $2,500 in products from Akro-Mils, a North American leader in storage, organization and transport products, has aided the Atlanta area Habitat for Humanity in providing a new home to a local family in need.

Akro-Mils’ donation to Habitat for Humanity included plastic storage bins and containers, portable organizers, storage cases, plastic and steel storage cabinets, and louvered bench racks. The donated products were delivered from Akro-Mils’ booth at the 2014 True Value Spring Market Show at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The donated Akro-Mils products were then sold in Habitat for Humanity’s local ReStore showroom. As noted in the Summer 2014 issue of Habitat’s Homefront newsletter, the donations made by Akro-Mils and other vendors at the True Value Show fully covered the cost to build one home for an Atlanta Habitat family.
