VP of growth Paul Nicholson presents HeroWear's Apex 2, a back-assist exosuit that enhances workers' well-being and productivity.

During Modex, HeroWear (Booth A12906) is displaying its Apex 2 back-assist exosuit. Lightweight and comfortable, the exosuit can decrease muscle fatigue in users by up to 40%, while simultaneously reducing their muscle strain by 20% to 40%.

Providing users freedom of movement so they can move and work exactly how they prefer to, the exosuit has been designed for all-day use. Customizable for a variety of sizes—whether users are 5 or 7 feet tall or they weigh 100 or 300 pounds—the suit can be placed on (and removed from) bodies easily. For example, users can try it on in roughly 1 minute and then remove it even faster.

Upon wearing the Apex 2, users can move in and out of various types of spaces more easily, including those that are very tight. Likewise, they can lift heavier items more effortlessly than before due to the exosuit’s elastic bands, which practically offer them another set of back muscles.

“By making heavy lifting easier, the exosuit has had a profound impact on users’ productivity, too,” said Karl Zelik, chief scientific officer and co-founder of HeroWear.
