VisionNav Robotics (Booth C4075) is automating the loading and unloading of trailer trucks with the introduction of the VNST20 Pro, an autonomous forklift, paired with an advanced robot control fleet scheduling system (RCS).

The VNST20 Pro adapts to diverse trucks, goods and environments, working with the RCS to automate unloading, loading and materials handling tasks. This maximizes loading rates, boosting work efficiency and safety.

“What is VisionNav trying to accomplish with all of our customers? We want to be a system that you deploy that one, works, and two, that you forget about,” said Kyle Chan, senior manager or sales and business development, VisionNav Robotics.

The solution applies 3D local slam technology based on deep learning, which reduces errors during operation in dynamic environments and improves the positioning accuracy and system robustness. A combination of 3D local SLAM technology, sophisticated system optimization algorithms, and modular design also allows the forklift to handle persistent issues in trailer box loading and unloading, such as low space utilization, prolonged deployment times and restricted flexibility.
